Both participants must go to a Florida County Courthouse to obtain a Marriage License. Identification for Both participants is needed. Proof of divorce is needed if previously married. A death certificate is required if a previous Spouse has died. A Florida Marriage License currently costs $88.50. Marriage Licenses will have a 3 Day waiting period for Florida residents (with proof of a marital counseling class, the license fee is $54.00 and there is NO waiting period). Non-residents will have no waiting period to get their Marriage License. Blood tests are not required. A Florida Marriage License is required prior to the wedding.
